Discover Adrian Alan at LAPADA

At Stand A22, visitors will encounter works selected for their rarity, quality, provenance and historical significance. The collection reflects Adrian Alan’s longstanding interest in the extraordinary craftsmanship of the 19th century, from the revival styles of Second Empire France to the sophisticated production of the Belle Époque.

The selection brings together furniture, sculpture and objets d’art by some of the most important makers and manufacturers of the period, offering an insight into the ambition and technical achievement of European decorative arts during a period of remarkable cultural change.

Exceptional 19th-Century Furniture

Exceptional exhibition furniture is central to Adrian Alan’s specialism, with works by leading makers including Charles-Guillaume Winckelsen, François Linke, Henry Dasson, Maison Beurdeley, Emmanuel Zwiener and Michelangelo Barberi.  Each piece is researched through its construction, marks, provenance and comparable examples to establish its historical significance.
