A Pair of Regence Style Carved Giltwood Console Tables.
These palatial console tables are finely carved, the frieze centred by a mask between pierced acanthus leaf plumes. The heavy Brêche d’Alep marble tops are superbly carved with a serpentine front edge. The angles are headed by scallop shells above cabriole legs joined by a ‘X’-shaped loop stretcher.
