A Louis XVI Style Giltwood and Aubusson Tapestry Five-Piece Salon Suite.
This suite of seat furniture comprises four fauteuils or open armchairs of generous proportions and a canapé or sofa, en suite. Each has a giltwood frame carved with leaf decoration. The tapestry chair backs and seats upholstered in tapestry with floral bouquets and garlands. The tapestry retains a good colour and has only minimal wear, as to be expected with age.
