Description

An Impressive Large Gilt-Bronze Mounted Mahogany Vitrine.

This impressive vitrine has a shaped cresting rail carved with acanthus above a pair of shaped doors with bevelled glass panels and canted corners applied gilt-bronze flowerhead paterae. The side panels are of corresponding design above an egg and dart frieze and shaped apron centred by a gilt-bronze acanthus and shell mount. The whole is raised on four tapering square section reeded and gilt-bronze mounted legs terminating in block feet.

The interior with silk back panel and three glass shelves.
