A 19th Century Giltwood Mirror, Possibly Scottish.
The arched cresting is elaborately decorated with carved and gesso giltwood with a baron’s coronet surrounded by swept acanthus leaves and laurel branches. The chandelled sides of the frame supporting rocaille capitals. The period plate is clear and useable with only minor marks in the glass.
