A Pair Of Gilt-Bronze Mounted Walnut and Fruitwood and Stained Horn Marquetry Encoignures.

These encoignures, or corner cabinets, are richly decorated with marquetry of scrolled acanthus issuing flowering branches, each with serpentine-shaped cupboard door with gilt-bronze frame and opening to a single shelf, the angles mounted with masks above outscrolled feet.

Probably Dutch, mid-18th century and later.
