This exceptional Grand Tour scent casket is of oval lobbed form finely cast in gilt-bronze with foliate reserves, the hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with a removable caddy fitted with four gilt mounted square section ruby glass scent bottles, each with a finely painted eglomise glass stopper depicting architectural views of Paris; The Cathedral of Notre Dame, Les Invalides, L'Arc de Triomphe and Palais Bourbon.
