Roland Paris

Roland Paris (1894-1945) was born into a German artistic family in Vienna in 1894.

He was a student of Henry van de Velde and Gottlieb Elster at the Weimarer Kunstgewerbeschule, before moving to Berlin to study sculpture.

His work is often satirical and idiosyncratic, specialising in bronze and ivory figures, lamp bases and ceramics.
