This exceptional pair of gilt-bronze stands are finely cast with a moulded circular border anthemion mounts and foliate trails. The three legs are finely cast with acanthus and fronded-acanthus and put down on paw feet. The legs are united by an under tier supporting an exceptionally chiseled gilt-bronze dragon figure. Approximate internal diameter of stands: 36 cm / 14 inches
