An Attractive Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Desk Chair.
This fine desk chair has a curved toprail above an open back with four turned columns framed by uprights with gilt-bronze terminals. The curved sweeping arms are put down on fluted supports to a caned seat with a squab cushion. The square section apron is supported by tapering fluted legs to the front, and sabre legs to the rear.
