A Pair of German Ivory and Boxwood Figures Depicting a Female Diver and Her Admirer.

The female figure finely carved in ivory as a diver, after the famous figure by Odoarda Tabacchi , her costume carved in boxwood; her admirer carved with a boxwood hat and robe and holding a spyglass, each standing on naturalistic carved bases raised on ebonised circular plinths.
