A Large Napoleon III Gilt and Patinated Bronze Table Centrepiece.
This charming and sophisticated centrepiece is finely cast with a fluted stemmed bowl embellished with fruited vines supported by three standing bacchanalian cherub figures, each holding bunches of grapes and cups. The stepped circular base has an egg and dart border and is embellished with further fruited vines and bunches of grapes and terminates in foliate form feet.
The bowl is inset with its original brass liner.
