A Fine Companion Pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Mahogany and Cube Parquetry Gueridons With Vert Maurin Marble Tops.
Each gueridon is of oval shape with a pierced gilt-bronze gallery and a Vert Maurin marble top. Below is a central frieze drawer, centred by finely chiselled gilt bronze mounts of ribbon tied cornucopia, issuing trailing vines and flowers.
One gueridon is fitted with a single door fronted by simulated drawers, the other fitted with a galleried shel. Each table is raised on raised on fluted tapering legs united by kidney shaped undertiers.
