A Very Large and Impressive Gilt-Bronze Mounted Marquetry Bookcase.
This very fine marquetry bookcase has a moulded cornice above a narrow central glazed door flanked to each side by a pair of glazed cupboard doors, each with two adjustable shelves and silk lined interiors. The glazed doors are flanked by two further cupboard doors with ebony and marquetry inlay. Each door has finely cast gilt-bronze borders and the bookcase is raised on a plinth with toupie feet.
