description
A Regency Period Mahogany and Bronze Mounted Sideboard, of recessed broken outline with ebonised moulding. The back has a moulded gallery with anthemion finials and paterae and crossed thyrsus headed batons. The frieze, which features guilloche and Vitruvian scroll decoration, is fitted with two drawers. Below is a panelled open compartment, with a cupboard at either end, and pilaster stiles flanking a winged harpi monopedia and enclosed by a panel door to either side. The sideboard stands on a plinth base.
