Description

An Impressive George II Style Giltwood Console Table in the Manner of William Kent.

This large and impressive carved giltwood side table has a shaped rectangular verde antico scagliola top above a moulded and fluted frieze centred by an eagle with outspread wings flanked by laurel-swags and raised on massive acanthus carved scrolling imbricated legs, re-gilded.

English, Circa 1900 , incorporating some 18th-century carved elements.
