An Elaborate Louis XV Style Gilt-Bronze Cartel Clock.

Surmounted by a Bacchanalian figure, this elaborately cast cartel clock has a white enamel circular dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and gilt hands. The case cast with ‘C’-Scrolls and fruited vines.

The two train spring driven movement has an anchor escapement, Brocot type suspension and an outside countwheel with a strike on a bell.
